UIBS expands partnership with Maastricht School of Management, launches transnational executive MBA and new specializations

UIBS recently signed an extended partnership agreement with Maastricht School of Management (MSM) in the Netherlands, building on the existing agreement signed several months before.

Graduate students from across the UIBS campus network who are registered for certain Master programs will now be able to study abroad at MSM for a summer specialization program of 12 credits.

Master graduates from any program can also continue their studies at MSM for an additional specialization that can be counted towards their Dual Master program requirements.

Several new Master/MBA programs are now also offered by UIBS in cooperation with MSM, including a Transnational Executive MBA. In this program, students are required to complete 12 credits in courses at our campuses in Antwerp or Brussels, 36 credits at any UIBS campus, and 12 credits at MSM. Besides the new Transnational EMBA program, the specializations offered by MSM in Healthcare Management and in Public Sector Management will be integrated in the Master in International Management (MIM) program offered by UIBS, whereby students will be required to complete the specialization courses at MSM during the summer.

Bachelor graduates can also still continue their studies at MSM for a Master degree program. Upon completion, UIBS students can earn a Dual Master from UIBS as well by earning an additional 30 credits.

MSM, established in 1952, is one of the oldest and most international business schools in the Netherlands and offers a range of degree programs and executive courses. Its programs are accredited by the NVAO, ACBSP and AMBA, among others.

Students interested in the various study abroad and further education opportunities should contact their local Academic Coordinator for additional information.
