UIBS launches new extension program in partnership with the Haas School of Business from the University of California at Berkeley

Our new Extension Program in California is set to launch in the Summer of 2018 in partnership with the Haas School of Business from the University of California at Berkeley (UC Berkeley).

Undergraduate and Graduate students from across the UIBS campus network who are registered for certain Bachelor or Master programs are able to study abroad at various quarters or semesters, including now also the Haas School of Business from the University of California at Berkeley.

Global Bachelor and Global Master students will also be able to complete their 3-continent requirement by studying at UC Berkeley and completing minimum 12 credits during one semester or longer in the Berkeley Haas Global Access Program (BHGAP).

Students who complete a 12-month BHGAP program at UC Berkeley may also qualify for Optional Practical Training (OPT), a way to apply for a work authorization that allows full-time work in a  paid position for up to 12 months in the USA.

The university has been ranked the #1 public institution by US News & World Report. Students in the BHGAP program study at the renowned Berkeley Haas School of Business taking classes alongside UC Berkeley students and have the opportunity to experience one of the most diverse and unique campuses in Berkeley, California, a city on the east shore of San Francisco bay.
