About the QS 2019 Global MBA Rankings

“The footprint of business education is expanding each year as new schools, programs, and partnerships appear across the globe. No longer is it a guarantee, or even a likelihood, that top talent from the developing world need uproot themselves from friends and family to pursue a quality management education abroad. Reputable study and flexible delivery options are now available for most global candidates at the regional, national, and international level. Although prospective students seek choice and flexibility, they also tell us that they are overwhelmed by the sheer amount of education paths at their disposal. QS believes that by including more schools in more markets than any other rankings provider, we are able to help applicants most effectively narrow relevant options from the world’s most comprehensive. Our rankings rely heavily on large and proprietary datasets from global employers, academics, and alumni. These inputs provide an unbiased view of what specific business schools put into the world, through both the lens of their graduate’s careers and their faculty’s productiveness. 251 MBA programs from 37 countries are included in the 2019 Global MBA Rankings. This year’s competitive fact file provides participating programs a glimpse at the global landscape for MBA degrees. Not only does it explain how [a school’s] final ranking position was determined, it also shares a host of additional insights reported by [the schools] and [their] peers during the information collection process.”
