Prof. Dr. Alea Farichild became European Masters weightlifting champion in the 45/49, 69kg category last Wednesday May 27 in Togliatti, Russia. Together with receiving the gold medal, she also set a new Belgian record of 44kg in the snatch and 59kg in the clean and jerk, for a total of 103kg. Last June 6, Dr. Fairchild also became Belgian Senior Champion
